I have been working at Invacare full-time (more than 3 years)

Lots of work to keep one busy so no boredom
Lots of room to learn as the company is going thru change. Good place to be in medical device if you really want to learn.
Flexible work hours in certain departments
Most people close their computer and leave by 5pm so you can have a good personal life
If you have experience you will definitely bring something to the table and may get valued.

Can be frustrating because of the consent decree and layoff situation. Never know whether you will have a job or not.
Can be extremely challenging as company is going thru management change
People are learning and so you have to step up and make decisions all the time and have to stand by it.
Some managers are difficult to deal with.
Release of projects is very challenging overall no matter what department you are in.
Management should drive people and motivate people by being engaged

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus should be given to timely delivery of all projects.
Some people work very hard and most people get away doing bare minimum. Yearly Reviews are not at all helpful- must do something to improve those so people who are hardworking feel like they are doing well.

    Neutral Outlook
