I have been working at J. C. Penney full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent place to begin your career in leadership if you can finally get a recruiter to follow up with you. The benefits and store discount are great! Trainings are awesome. Each store appears to have a family oriented environment. I like the different cultures and diversity among employees.

    Cons

Unrealistic quotas are set for the employees which results in termination and that can cost the company money because now management has to spend more time scouting, hiring, and training again. JC Penney needs to understand these are difficult times for all companies and business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is too much turn around in management. Work with what you have and enhance each other skills through workshops and trainings.
