I have been working at J Kokolakis Contracting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

has a pool table, fun at lunch

    Cons

pay for female - LOW; people scream at you, literally; poor leadership

    Advice to Management

Advice given to me by current employees when I was hired: there are 3 definites in life, 1) pay taxes 2) die 3) be fired from kokolakis. The atmosphere at this company is so dreary, no one smiles, everyone is afraid to go on vacation because a lot of people were fired when they returned; if you receive a gift from a vendor you have to give it to management to raffle off; lot's of jealousy and backstabbing; just so depressing. Management needs a shakeup - new blood that knows how to treat people. They even treat their subs/vendors horribly, they badmouth this company all the time. If female, forget moving out of your position - there are no opportunities to make any kind of money or move up in the company.
