I have been working at J.P. Morgan (More than a year)

Good benefits, stability, decent pay. Company makes tons of profit. Good long term outlook.

Very conservative towards change, new development mostly fueled by regulatory restrictions rather than need for improvement. New requirements handled in an ad-hoc manner without much plan or thought on the current workload, Agile means, keep changing the requirement until the day of release. New product development is rare, even that does not start on a clean sheet due to tight coupling with other systems. Mobility is said to be encouraged, however the selection/rejection is not very transparent. Poor work-life balance. All depends on whether you have a good manager and a great team with great projects.

    Advice to Management

CEO mentions customers, employees & profits are given equal importance, try to keep that promise about employees.
