    I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 5 years


    Good place to get your feet wet in the call center environment. When I started working for the company it was converting from Bank One to Chase. The culture was very laid back, and management listened to their employees. The benefits package is great.


    Was told in training that you should leave your heart at home, because there's no room for it at Chase. No upward mobility, rarely promoting from within. They prefer to hire from outside sources for management rather than promoting. Quite a bit of favoritism for the yes man. If you're an honest, hardworking employee, they don't care. Don't bother applying if you have a chronic illness or disability. They will find any reason they can to target you and make your life miserable if you're sick. There is no accommodation for people suffering from anything other than cancer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat your employees with respect, value all of them, not just the ones who are top performers or brown nosers. Work with the employees who aren't perfect, have a heart. Not just for your customers but your employees too. Without your employees, you have no business.
