    Pros

JPMorgan is a prestigious and successful company. There is a vast opportunity for employment, depending on geographic location. Pay is competitive and mostly fair. JPMorgan provides a good benefits package including a 401K, retirement plan, and other benefits and services.

    Cons

JPMorgan is currently in a resource consolidation cycle. There is a very real danger of job elimination or relocation, especially for remote employees. Promotion is often driven more by politics than performance. The cost of healthcare coverage has rapidly increased in the last 5 years. Their health plan now follows a co-insurance model. Managing risk has become a major priority for JPMorgan. Administrative tasks have increased exponentially in the past 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Middle level management and business direction seems to change every 18 months to two years.
