Staff is friendly. Time is flexible, they work around your schedule and are very family oriented. There are smart people who work here, but the smart ones don't have authority. Salary is okay, not competitive. Benefits are okay as well.

VERY cliquish and a place where nepotism is rampant. They don't even hide it. When starting, only training you get is from someone else who has a similar position as you, and that's IF they have the time. Management does not handle serious situations professionally. If you're not a partner, you're treated like sub-human by them. Even associates. So unless you come in as a partner, you won't get any respect from the attorneys. Very much an "old boys club." Also if you're staff, there is nowhere to go for progression; people have been in the same position for over 20+ years. If that's your thing, go for it, but if you want to grow, go somewhere else

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your staff are not your enemy. You wouldn't have a functioning office if it wasn't for your support staff. How about giving them the respect they deserve? Room for growth would be nice, even if it's something lateral from within.
Highly doubt anything will improve unless management itself is overhauled.
