    I worked at Jasculca/Terman full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    -As an intern (AA) you get a lot of great experience.
    -They are really flexible with time off.
    -As a JAE you get a lot of client-facing time and really learn on the fly how to deal with difficult clients.

    Cons

    -Pay is horrible. I actually don't know how people live on what they pay.
    -Office culture is non-existent. People stay in their offices and do not mentor younger staffers at all.
    -You will not be appreciated for the long hours your work.
    -I actually left feeling depressed. It just isn't a fun place to work and people seem to hate their lives there.
    -Everyone who works there has been there forever. That means there is no new blood and their tactics and campaigns are kind of stale.
    -They do not hire AAs at all. Work as hard as you want, but they will not hire you.
    -You are often thrown into difficult situations with no guidance. You need to be smart on your own, don't expect senior support.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Hire people! You need to hire young and experienced people. PR is changing rapidly and your whole staff only has experience at JT. You need to hire people outside of your bubble to continue to grow.
    -Revamp your "HR department." Basically no one knows what the rules are. Employees have no idea what their benefits are because they aren't clearly laid out or respected by management. Plus, there is really no one to go to with complaints of any kind which makes working at JT stressful and unsatisfying
    -Provide some formal training to your staff. There is no new learning going on within JT. People need training on new tactics and PR tools.
