I worked at Jobscience full-time (More than 5 years)
Working ~50 hours/weeks in a fast paced start up environment
Poor office etiquette, little room for growth, revolving door of management, feast of famine workloads, unreal expectations to name a few. Also CEO/CFO are father and son- leads to many bad times. Favoritism is rampant, get in and fit in or else life at Jobscience may seem dull. No performance appraisals or even acknowledgement of jobs well done. Company is big on 'plans' but wastes more meeting time debating plan rather than implementing or actually completing the plan. Have yet to witness an executed idea that was well planned and thought out. Rather than develop employees in house or set them up for future growth at the company, Jobscience focuses on hiring those able to take orders and push papers across the desk. The company, though small, is known for its 'mass firing sprees' across departments, and definitely does not exclude Executives in the bunch. What's left is a toxic culture where people tip toe around and contribute only the bare minimum since management discourages 'thinking outside the box'
