I worked at Journal Communications, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

Company attempts to adapt innovation to products and services. Good internal hardware and software support. Effective advertising and sales force. High quality print products & Mediocre digital products

Open loud office environment. Relentless and in some cases office gossip and negative attitudes. Too many people fight over too little work leading to employee conflict. Very aggressive and negative people fighting because of fear and job insecurity. Credit for any technical or process innovation is quickly taken by the insecure managers.
