    Pros

You are able to create your own schedule however you like as long as you hit 40hrs/wk. Management allows you to do a combination of work at home/work in the office which is a perk not typical in most agencies. Agency provides you with a work phone and clinicians are also provided with work laptops. Management team is ALWAYS available - this includes late at night and on the weekends. They always answer their phones and provide support 24/7 - it is great to work with such dedicated and supportive management. Management team also supports their employees' personal and professional development and assists employees in developing long term career goals. There is a lot of room for growth as JRI community based program is opening new offices across the state of Connecticut. The population served is among the most at-risk youth and families in the state, providing a great experience to sharpen and refine your clinical skills. Working for JRI has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

    Cons

This is a high -stress job, as any job in the human service field. It can be a bit disorganized with the new offices opening but that is only temporary. The driving can be a bit much at times - clients can be an hour apart from each other.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great work in supporting employees' personal/professional development and being so available and approachable. More clinical supervisors could be beneficial.
