I worked at Kaiser Permanente as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

If you survive as a temp & offered a permanent position, wages & benefits are one of the top in the industry

    Cons

Very low wages offered as a temp. Too much favortism in the AAR depts. Leads and Analyists need to be more professional less childish. Seems as if folks are in high school all over again forming clicks and not working more as 1 team, sad situation but I blame Management on not knowing where to draw the line -_-

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure instructors have all employees system credentials before training class. What good is sitting in a classroom watching, if one can't have hands on practice due to lack of uncoordinated efforts of Management & IT? Then the kicker is once training is done you are placed on the floor expected to keep up with the seasoned folks per union rules. Management you are too busy filling seats for enrollment time employees are packed like a sweatsho, wake and look at their conditions!!! Folks are literally sitting shoulder to shoulder hoping for bigger work areas to breathe in their own space. C'mon Kaiser, are you guys really that tight with your $$$?? Loosen up and take care of those in the trenches!!! ~ on behalf of my training classmates..hope it helps future employees ;)
