    Pros

Its a big, global corporation so it comes with the red tape and such that is expected but the people that work here are the best. Each location has its own twist on the corporate culture and has a small company feel. The benefits are good and we are very employee friendly. The work is challenging and you are given freedom within a framework to get things done.

    Cons

As with any big company there are things that don't make sense and are frustrating. The new processes we are implementing feel like work is just being pushed out to non-service center roles rather then being made more efficient. HR tends to have loose direction and if you are not in Battle Creek, MI you tend to get lost in the shuffle. There are limited opportunities to work on projects within the HR responsibility if you are not at the corporate office or international although you do get to work on projects that directly impact the business or function you support.

    Advice to Management

Throw the Opinion Survey out the window and go talk to the people in the field and manufacturing locations - really listen and see what goes on. Undercover Boss (or something like that) would really open your eyes.
