I have been working at Kentucky Trailer

    Pros

Great work atmosphere. Great group to work with. The management team is great about recognizing associates who contribute to the success of the company, and this is backed with compensation (when business is good). The company is very good about letting you take time for family issues when you really need it. They are family owned and realize that everyone has a family at home, and life does not always work around your work hours.

    Cons

The trailer industry is very cyclical in general, and Kentucky Trailer is also very affected by the housing industry downturn. The compensation is great if business is doing well, but they have been in a down market since 2001. This continued downturn starts to get the associates worried about their carreers and future.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to diversify the product line to help with the cycles of the business. Keep up the good communication lines with the associates. This helps to build trust.
