KershawHealth does not treat their employees fairly, you can work for them over 20 years & be let go without notice.

I worked at KershawHealth full-time (more than 3 years)

There is not much good about working there. You can feel good about making people feel better when they're sick or hurt and some of the people are nice to know but that's about all.

The biggest challenge is dealing with the small town mentality the hospital employees and administrators have. If you're not from there then you're not going to fit. They do not have many company benefits and no company values. They do what they want when they want and don't care who can get hurt by it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your department managers to treat all employees the same. Do not favor locals over others. Give raises to those that deserve them instead of spending money on new stationery, name tags, new signage, etc. We can not eat paper or plastic.
