I have been working at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I get a lot of opportunity to learn new things in my field of work, as I work in a section that is relatively new at the company and our work list far exceeds our headcount. Benefits are decent, though you only get 6 paid holidays, CTO accrual is good if you are relatively healthy. I'm fortunate to have a manager that tries to support me, however that is not a consistency across the company.

    Cons

Massachusetts traffic makes commuting HORRIBLE - any chance at telecommuting 1-2 days a week are completely up to your management - some allow it, some don't. The company needs to come up with a policy that can be applied consistently across the professional/office employees. Why waste 2+ hours a day sitting in traffic when you could be doing meaningful work for the company from your home office?

They like to tout the company culture here - it pretty much only exists in the Engineering sections - everywhere else is the same old, same old.

Keurig is rampant with mediocre middle management - they have no career path but of course they get promoted. They talk a big talk about Change Management but they rarely walk the walk.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need new HR leadership now. They don't have what it takes to help this company get to the next level.

Develop a work life balance policy that is fairly applied to all that have a job that can be done from home (on a laptop).

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
