I worked at KeyPoint Government Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Telework, you don't have to see your bosses (who have no idea what they are doing) on a daily basis.

    Cons

Where to start. For anyone that worked at USIS, take your experience there and times it by 100 and that's how bad KGS is. I mean, it is atrocious. FM's, Regional Directors, Upper Management...these people don't have a clue. They treat this job as if it is a sales position - numbers, numbers, numbers....stats, stats, stats. Let's crank out the most work possible, chew you up and spit you out like your a piece of trash. Turning and burning NATIONAL SECURITY CLEARANCES like they are computer software renewals. It is really sad that this company has come to this. I look for this company to be in the news and be the next one investigated by DOJ-OIG and shut down in the next couple years. I worked here for 3+ years and left on my own terms (not sour grapes on my end).

    Advice to Management

Get out of management! I wouldn't trust you to manage a McDonalds, much less thousands of investigators processing national security clearances. There's nothing like working your butt off day in and day out for $44k a year, to be told week after week that you didn't hit your "numbers" and you need to grind more cases out next week to make up for it. You're an absolute joke. This joke of a CEO Eric Hess comes to KGS and the first thing he does while employee morale is in the tank is take away the only thing that made this company worth while...our company vehicles. Then his management teams grinds the workforce until they can't even stand it anymore. Literally people having stress related health issues. I never thought it was possible to get worse than USIS...man, was I wrong or what!!! I also never thought it was possible to micromanage a workforce from 2,500 miles away...yup, I was wrong there too! This place is a mockery. One can only hope that eventually the Federal Government gets wise and boots this clown of a company to the curb.
