    I have been working at Keyence full-time for more than 3 years


    Base Pay + Commission
    Good People
    Positive changes aimed towards American Culture over last 2 years
    Innovative products
    Growing company
    Management is becoming better at listening to employees


    Stress sales call/phone metrics over sales
    2-3yr burnout expected
    MAG commission is low- 3-3.5% off of 36% effect which equates to ~1.25% of total sale
    Micromanagement- Need to realize some people sell differently and can still be successful without doing it the outdated Keyence way
    Mandatory 7:30am-5pm hours whereas similar positions are 8:30am-4pm or no set hours for salesman
    Vacation is low-10 days of vacation starting (12days after 2 years)
    Some divisions could use a bump in mileage for having to driving SUVs/Trucks/Vans instead of fuel efficient cars

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Although changes over the last two years have been great, Keyence still has a ways to go in work/life balance, compensation/incentives and micromanagement. Fix these areas and Keyence will finally start keeping experienced reps.
