You'll be glad you joined, if you can get past the first years as an engineer.

I worked at Kiewit Corporation full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Experience. Well developed training and career advancement, Dedicated employees, superb benefits. Kiewit does it better than anyone. Being privately owned they answer only to the employee stock holders, not the public. No other organization even comes close. They are recognized the world over and nothing but praise is offered.

    Cons

For your first few years (or maybe longer) get ready to put in the hours. Everyone did it, just get in, get it done, and hopefully get out of the trenches and into the office.
Pay may not always be the best starting off, but after 10-20 years you'll be glad you hung in there. the 401K match and stock program take time to build up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your doing everything right, but pay need to be increased. Not everyone is a stock holder, and even then, the pay could be better. The profits are definitely there to provide the bump.
