    I worked at Kimco Realty full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Regional Directors and Vice Presidents are great people to work with. Company benefits are good although every year they give it a hair cut.

    Cons

    Accounting software CTI is extremely old, you'll never use this version of Yardi anywhere else in your career. CFO's mantra of having his "All-Stars" and "Blockers and Tacklers" in his staff creates a horrible unprofessional environment. Regional office staff tries to avoid corporate accounting managers at all costs.

    Advice to Management

    Being blinded by the focus of cutting payroll and other G&A costs has created a horrible corporate work environment. HR works against its own employees hiding behind wasted "perks" such as Dale Carnegie courses and weight loss programs that sees employees walk circles around the parking lot. They are also blind to the unprofessional managers that create bad blood among employees. There is a blaring cancer within the organization that needs to be addressed otherwise employee morale will continue to be low.
