I have been working at King Soopers part-time (More than 10 years)
Worked enough years that I have benefits, holiday pay and vacation. Anyone new to the company does not receive any of these benefits.
Extremely micromanaged company with unrealistic expectations of employees. They do not allow for departments to have enough daily hours for enough employees to get the job done. Instead expects too much work on few hours and fewer employees. Because of these expectations they can not retain anyone because the work is too much and stressful and the pay and benefits are lousy.
Advice to Management
Put more effort into retaining your employees with experience. Trust our expertise when determining departmental needs. Make realistic demands and reevaluate your compensation, especially for new hires. Otherwise you will never find quality people to run your stores. You're people do not make a difference anymore. The ones that do are leaving.
