    I have been working at Kobo full-time (more than an year)


    Snacks, benefits, "flex" hours. The first year was fun and offered a great number of opportunities to learn.


    Confusion, poor management. Kobo laid off almost a third of the Toronto office and slowly the strongest employees are trickling out. What's left is a constant drive to increase revenue without much attention paid to offering a strong user experience. Promotion-wise the company is a dead end. Everyone is a manager, nobody moves up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop playing political games and work together to make a product to be proud of.
