Employee Discounts. This location tends to get really great people working for them ( mostly due to the person screening potential employees-she has an awesome insight about people and so kind-hearted).
No matter how hard you work and how dependable you are as an employee if you don't kiss ___ with a few of the managers they will pick you apart and talk all about you when you are not there. Very demoralizing environment. One of the young male managers there enjoys flaunting his power. Most of the employees can't stand him but they fear him and know they have to act as friends He makes really weird statements to employees, like I can get _____ fired if I want. Made many uncomfortable statements regarding his personal life openly where customers could hear him Very immature person and is slow poison for this store. People are always paranoid. On the other hand one of other other managers is very supportive and because of her I did not just walk out. The best part of working there was my immediate co- workers in my department ( most of them have had enough and have left) and the administrator who helps with the hiring She is a ray of sunshine.
Advice to Management
Do a better job of hiring and promoting managers. This location could have been great to work at if it wasn't for a few and the amount of constant drama that they would stir up.
