I worked at Kohl's (Less than a year)

    Pros

learn about products employee discount becoming a part of a team getting to take on the responsibility of makeovers and selling products

    Cons

store manager was to relaxed so when corporate wanted better results he would be rude to associates most managers had no respect for employees managers sat around until some asked for help management could give demands but never help out themselves, this includes the supervisor of the beauty department

    Advice to Management

its not our fault kohls decided to redo the beauty departments, also to the fact a lot of customers don't even know that kohls has that department, lay off the associates. I don't need you to be rude every time I take a moment to catch my breath. the management team also needs to all be on the same page. don't treat your employees like they are below you or try to be little them. to get hard working employees you should treat uS like people, not puppets. e3s, need to try to take more of a helpful role when they are at the front of the store. don't just stand around waiting for someone to ask for help, fold down a table or hop on a register when lines get long. we aren't your slaves.
