    Pros

Benefits; Cheap medical insurance with great coverage, 401k match, life insurance, and a pension. Decent work/life balance. Some good coworkers that have a sense of humor. High standards of ethics (president excluded) and good corporate philosophy.

    Cons

There is no true leadership here, only management. This company has lost their vision and needs someone to guide them or they will eventually fade away and cease to exist. Unhealthy conflict, sour attitudes, and a generally unpleasant working environment. Highest priced product in a cheap commoditized market. No real support from Japan HQ. Little to no opportunity for advancement. Mediocre pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reevaluate your vision for the company, hire a real leader, not just another sales guy turned manager; its not working. Put the right people in the right positions, not your unqualified friends that cannot perform the job requirements. Learn to manage people properly. At a bare minimum, at least standup for and act like this is your company: the "be political" and appease Japan all the time is just you acting like a corporate puppet. Most of all, start making decisions and in a timely fashion. Oh, and stop asking your employees to write positive reviews for you on glassdoor.
