    I have been working at L-3 Communications full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    It is better than unemployment

    L3 doesn't care about their employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The actual people/managers working at L3 headquarters never come around so they don't understand any of the positions or what goes on to make things work smoothly....nor do they care and it's extremely apparent! This is a factory type setting. Revolving employees is no issue for them so don't expect to have a secure feeling with your job. Their salaries are amongst the lowest in the industry. If you live in the mid west and cost of living was low, then the pay would be great but living in Southwest California where cost of living is high, pay is horrible. On top of that, they must have inexperienced HR and Payroll personnel that do not understand how to perform their jobs. Pay is always messed up. Payroll errors are a common occurrence then trying to get the issues resolved quickly are impossible because you can't speak to a human and again, no management personnel come around from headquarters to speak with staff to understand issues. This is a company that only offers a paycheck with little gratitude toward the employees. Like I said, it's better than unemployment but only one step above!
