    I have been working at LBSFCU (more than an year)


    Coming from a commercial bank, this credit union rocks. Coming into the company, they were able to work around schedules and provide all the necessary tools needed to help you become successful in your job. They are VERY member focused, lots of employees have been with the company for many years. They provide really good training for your position and people are very helpful. I have had the opportunity to work in the branches as well as the main office and there are lots of people I have met who are very friendly and knowledgeable and love being with the company, but that's not to say there aren't any folks with overly strong personalities because trust me, THEY ARE THERE. Good news is half of them are retirement bound. Pay is alright and you get awesome benefits ONLY if you're Full-time.


    MICRO-MANAGING has a very strong presence here. Compared to other credit unions of the same size, they could definitely pay more. Opportunity for advancement is a joke, especially if you're coming from a branch. It's ONLY at the discretion of someone from higher management who has never even met you and whether they're having a good day or not. Huge lack of communication skills. They could value their employees more and change their benefits for PT employees.
