I have been working at Learning Tree full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are some great people who work for this company. It's unfortunate that the heads of the company do not recognize this fact. In fact the people working at Learning Tree are quite a bit smarter than those who are running the company. The pay is decent. The benefits are not the best, but they are not the worst either. The employees really do try with what little resources and support that they have.

    Cons

Where do I start? The leadership is absolutely the worst display of leadership I have ever seen. Where is the Board? I thought this was a publicly traded company that had a board responsible for oversight. But apparently that doesn't matter at this company. And no one cares that the President of the company continuously discriminates in his hiring practices. In order to get hired or to get promoted in this company you have to be YOUNG YOUNG YOUNG. So now the company relies on people who clearly also do not know what they are doing. It is sinking sinking sinking. I completely regret taking a job here. But see my comments under Pros - there are great people working here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leave. If you really want to save this company, you will do the right thing and resign. Consider leadership that actually knows what they are doing. People are what keeps the company going. That is sadly forgotten on a daily basis.
