Good people (staff & volunteers) helping those battling cancer. Highly rewarding to help facilitate life saving research. LLS has an array of initiatives that strategically fund research and accelerate the approval process for new therapies.

Pay. Depending on position and supervisor, expectations of time commitment and schedule can be skewed. Management didn't seem to understand the significance of how its decisions affect staff professionally, while at LLS and especially beyond.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't assume. Trust your staff to do the work you hired them to do. If there is an issue, show staff the respect of asking for their perspective.
