I worked at Libra Internet Bank full-time (more than a year)Pros
HR - initials interviews are ok, the tests are quite relevant and people from HR will assist you if you have some administrative problems.
Procedures - many administrative parts are well covered (e.g. paper work is done very efficiently, technical support people are very supportive)
Colleagues - most of the colleagues are OK, but if you stay longer than one year, you will see that most of them will change, especially the most interesting ones.
Location - somewhere in Crangasi, near the subway station, so it is rather easy to get there.
Career path - good for starters, as it is allowed to work part-time and have flexible hours (students only and for a limited time).Cons
Benefits - the only benefit consists of meal tickets.
Training / development - do not exist. If you are a junior member of the team, it will be very hard to learn something in a formal way. Peer-review (code-review for coders) is very limited, as it can be performed by people who barely touched that technology.
Mentoring - is almost non-existent and is hardly discouraged as it is seen as a waste of time.
Reward / recognition - most of the times, deadlines are set so they can never be achieved. Most of the times, management will make clear to you that deadlines are not met because you are not efficient enough.
Company culture - The accent is put on working very much, not choosing efficient methods (which involves more time for thinking before-head).
Company structure - the "normal" employee / manager count ratio is OK, but some team roles are missing: business analysts are considered overhead, project managers lack advance management knowledge (no solid planning is performed), coaching is a quality that does not exist.
Working conditions - the computers are modest, the only upgrades being performed by the employees from their own pockets. Technical support and other IT teams share the same room, so earphones are a must.Doesn't RecommendNeutral Outlook
