I have been working at Lion Re:Sources full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Nice office environments generally, Agency staff are a positive to work with generally. benefits are pretty good. Most of the people not involved with high level positions within departments are VERY bright and friendly and trying to make things work.

    Cons

Poor to non-existent communication. Very top down management style, not open to feedback. Public shaming for people trying to offer helpful feedback. Very little accountability, politics within the departments play a huge factor in advancement, not competence. Impossible to grow career in a meaningful way unless you are located in Chicago or perhaps NYC. Disparate pay for the same positions in the same locations (sometimes as much as 20-30k for the same position) The model is growth through acquisition, one of the side effects is most of the competent people leave as soon as they are merged with Re:sources. Everything in operations side is textbook toxic work environment, almost a real life Dilbert cartoon.. Working in IT operations and client services side there is lip service paid to IT management structures (ITIL specifically) but actual operations are determined (seemingly) by fiat from the Paris based leadership, with no feedback, no competent overall project management and poor implementation (in spite of the talent on the teams implementing)

    Advice to Management

You all should be fired 3 times.
