Opportunity to make a real difference
Unqualified management explains away problems when brought up. The new CEO has made very few changes in redundant processes and bloated bureaucracy even though it is sorely needed to stem the bleeding. High performing businesses are frequently blindsided by pet initiatives, causing declines and drop in morale. Goals are unrealistic.
Advice to Management
Get back to basics- putting out high quality deals and marketing the heck out of the best ones.
Pushing out thousands of poorly designed deals to meet an arbitrary quota is not the way. We were growing and nearly profitable before all the changes in 2014.
Protect the profit engines from bureaucracy, give your employees more control over their business and relationships and stop reorganizing all the time.
Listen when employees are telling you something is broken, and not wait for your business to decline double digits before taking a look. MOST IMPORTANTLY- stop tweaking successful processes just so management can justify their existence.
