I worked at LivingSocial full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

LivingSocial was a great first job out of college. My coworkers were extremely motivated, smart, and fun people who cared about their jobs and about the company. The culture was too good to be true at first (when I started in 2011.) Looks great on my resume and has absolutely helped me get where I am today professionally.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the free food, booze, and happy hours loses its luster when you realize the compensation is grossly behind industry averages and the people making decisions lack direction and strategy and play favorites to a small group of people. Senior management does not have the experience to manage the teams and products they do. Internal communication is misguided at best. I was "promoted" twice with no change in salary or compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hopefully things are better now that there's a new CEO. Stay focused on what works so your employees do not feel like they are working on a dead-end company. And get rid of ineffective and bad managers!
