I have been working at Livingston International full-time (more than an year)

There are committees that you can join such as Wellness or Philanthropy that try to engage the staff in fundraisers and other events, but this is by no means a reason to work here

If you like being at a dead end job on a sinking ship, this is the place for you! IT is terrible and most databases don't work properly. Instead of investing the time in fixing them, they would rather you spend the extra time using a work-around and then be upset that it is cutting into your productivity. When 100% of your job is on the computer, you need systems that work.

Management is typically unavailable, leaving staff to fend for themselves. There is little to no training so good luck trying to figure it out. There is an extremely high turn-over rate and most people figure it out within a few months and quit.

The compensation is well below the competition despite what they will tell you. There are no bonuses and less than the cost of living increase each year. While other locations of this company may be better, stay away from the Southfield location. Clearly, the only positive review on here is from HR. If you are smart, you will not waste your time. I'm sorry I did.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either trust your employees to do the best with that they have or be available to help and teach. You can't micromanage and treat your employees like children and expect them to produce. Be consistent in your policies and do not have the double standards that are in place now. Wipe the management slate clean and start over!
