    I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group

    Pros

    Most departments work 9 to 5 and do not work weekends.

    Cons

    You will never get a real raise or a real bonus and you most likely never get promoted. The pay is way under market. The HR department is HORRIBLE (Payroll is wrong; Health benefits keep getting worse; and most of them are very rude). I have even heard the CFO state “I you don’t like, go work somewhere else”. That just tells how bad the leadership is in North America. It can be a hostile work environment and the senior staff does not realize it, either because they do not care or the people acting hostile only act this way to lower level staff or fawn over staff that is a higher level than them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn to lead... If you do not know how to develop and mentor people you shouldn’t be leading them. Learn how bad a turnover rate impacts your industry.
