    Pros

You are paid on time, there is a great resiliance within the workforce to do a good job despite the constraints placed upon them. Some great people that make things happen for customers and colleagues.

Good range of policies and salaries are okay - however application of policy by management and local practices diminish the intent of the organisation

    Cons

If you want to deliver you will constantly face issues with technology, governance and a lack of consistent leadership from collegaues below the Group Exec.

Line Managers and colleagues are not trusted to do a good job - lots of micro management and reporting - so train leaders to lead, assess their ability to lead and trust them to get on with it!

Some leaders talk a good game but do not follow through with tangible activity

    Advice to Management

Resolve the contraints that you place on employees - trust more, reward on competence and potential
Change the culture so it is more adult to adult - rather than parent child
