I worked at Longwood University full-time
I cannot think of any. This was the worst employment experience that I have ever had.
My department made many promises to faculty that they never had any intention of keeping. Search committees for new faculty resulted in lots of disagreements and unpleasant experiences for everyone involved. Temporary lecturers are not valued, not respected, and not taken seriously if they apply for permanent positions. The workload is enormous, and unrealistic expectations are set. For example, an instructor teaching a class of 150 students has no teaching assistant to help grade and is expected to assign numerous homework assignments and give detailed, individualized feedback to every student.
Advice to Management
Treat others with respect. If an employee does the department a favor, try to help that person out in return instead of ignoring their needs.
