Duties:
As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and advice to clients based on their financial goals and objectives.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims
- Developing personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their financial goals
- Providing advice on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and insurance options
- Monitoring clients' accounts and making recommendations to ensure they remain on track to meet their financial goals
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients through excellent customer relationship management
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification preferred
- Series 65 license required
- VA Life, Health, and Annuity license required
- Strong understanding of tax strategies, financial analysis, wealth management, and technical accounting
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools
- Excellent knowledge of financial concepts including investment strategies and risk management
- Familiarity with wills, trusts, and estate laws for comprehensive financial planning
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients
