I worked at Lowe's (More than a year)

    Pros

There are some good people and the Mooresville/Charlotte, NC area is a nice place to live.

    Cons

They don't like MBAs or anyone different than who they are used to. Anyone offering a different way of looking at things aren't celebrated and, in many ways, are ridiculed for offering a different perspective than the norm.

    Advice to Management

You should be more open to MBAs and a diversity of thought. Employing the same types of people and celebrating these people, while shunning others, is not a good characteristic of a company competing with a certain orange clad home improvement chain based in Atlanta.
