Current Employee - Front Office Supervisor in Kernersville, NC

I have been working at Lowe's Foods full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Always looking for better ways to revolutionize grocery industry and develop premiere product for guests. 10% discount on private-label products and additional fuel rewards is a small benefit but it does add up over time.

    Cons

It can be difficult to move up beyond a departmental supervisor and break through into management. Some people who occupy management positions become complacent and do not do their jobs effectively, however upper management does not threaten to replace them which can impede the progress that is attempting to be made.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize talent that you have on your bench before they go elsewhere. Pay those who are willing to stay for the long haul the money they deserve, and not the average if they are worth it.
