I have been working at Lowe's full-time (more than 3 years)

Very competitive minded, great brands, unique mindset, and future focused. Some of the best benefits compared to similar retail companies. A multitude of services that allow employees to get free help for the first couple of visits to any number of employee services both in and outside of the store.

Poor communication between tiers of management, often resulting in repeated and wasted labor hours for a multitude of store projects. Moral is very low, and often times results with extremely high turn over. Time management is not promoted, often times resulting in poor coverage and a multitude of customer complaints, with little to no time for employee training, feedback, or any other management opportunities. Have spent 3 years at company with scarce interaction with direct and higher management, often requiring taking time on days off to get information.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time management and communication needs to be vastly improved. Insuring employees have proper guidance, time for required training, and a "Measure/Think Twice, Install once" would vastly improve employee to customer interaction ratios and increase in learning and sales opportunities.

    Neutral Outlook
