Great company and it is still continuing to grow. Loss Prevention Managers are salaries very fair (if your performance warrants it). The LP Specialists work 40 hrs per week and with experience start around $14. When I got my promotion in 2008 I went from $12.50/hr as a specialist to 17.739 as a Manager. Managers do work in the area of 50 to 60 hrs per week though.
If you do not make you inventory goal they blame is well placed on the LP SPecialist or Manager even if the blame should fall with the Store Manager as they have been know to go behind the backs of their LP team and not work LP programs which lead to much high loss for the company.
Advice to Management
Keep an eye on your Store Managers during the inventory process. I was once asked to fraudulently claim that we had two riding lawn mowers that amounted to almost a $5000 loss. Of course I did not. I have also caught Ops and Store Managers completing check backs during inventory and adding to the amount of inventory we had on hand just so they could make their inventory and get their bonus. I ultimately did not happen.
