Honestly, I don't feel like they are VERY honest when hiring you and they tell you that you can move up within the company. USUALLY (I saw it time and time again working there for 2 years) they will bring someone from outside of the store for management positions. I think instead of doing that why not give your ALREADY employees the opportunity to move up within the company since they are most likely going to know more about Lowe's in general verses a person who's never worked there! Give everyone a fair chance!
I tried to apply for all kinds of positions here, and 2 years later I was still a cashier.
Sad to say you don't really care to help your employee's too much with moving up and everyone who's ever worked here KNOWS that's a fact. Just a shame, really.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try moving up people in your store who are already there.
I was a cashier for 2 years, I applied for everything in the store when it was open.
You always gave the positions to older people who never worked at Lowe's.
    Moral makes the store better!
