I have been working at Lowe's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great work environment, gained experience in several fields, garnered effective communication and problem solving while working with general public.

    Cons

Middle managers are a little robotic in executing commands from superiors. Rather than using common sense they often just go "by the book."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use common sense when delegating tasks rather than the cookie-cutter procedure often issued. Realize that some tasks are more important than others despite the normal routine.
