    I have been working at LyondellBasell


    Provides a steady paycheck and insurance. A few a managers are exceptional.


    Lyondell has the false perception they bought Basell and Basell wasn't smart enough nor strong enough to argue the arguments. If you are one of the chosen ones you advance rapidly, if not you stagnate.

    Preach safety, however safety and some of the managers are the first ones to insist on performing an unsafe act.

    No pension plan, median benefits, pays lower than average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to the employees rather than shrugging them off. Managers who only attend meetings all should be retired. Need to look at competitive pay, benefits with others.
