    I worked at M4i full-time

    Pros

The people are good people. That's the only pro over there at M4i.

    Cons

Well... First and foremost, it's rather unattractive for an employee to have to work on their feet from 7am to 6pm every day; making a dismal salary and selling T-Mobile contracts door to door (they have store fronts for that). Yes, the President of this organization commented that it's B2B, but hmmmmmm, not in the sense that one would hope. You literally are required to hit sections of the ghetto parts of Chicago walking door to door, "selling" people on switching phone lines to T-Mobile. Oh and "it's so easy and inexpensive!", they say to customers, "we just need your credit card and social security number for a credit check! ... Anndddd a startup fee of $300 for your new (and outdated) phone that you'll need to pay today! :)" ....

Also, M4i is a SALES MILL. You put in 65 hrs a week for $250 after taxes, maybe $700 if you're lucky that week. Meanwhile, the "partners" sit back making around $60K delegating sales responsibilities to the minions. Not to be offensive at all, and i apologize if it comes across that way to anyone.. But they bring in anyone who has a brain and tells them "hey, you'd be great here!" Seriously, they brought in a new prospect to shadow with me, and the guy literally had aspergers. This isn't a joke, the guy they were planning on hiring literally was licking the windows, talking to himself, and nearly seizing in the backseat of the car.

Again, sure the people are great and friendly. But if I could make one recommendation to anyone seeking a career in sales, do not, I repeat, DO NOT start with M4i. It's just a bunch of 'incompetent-for-any-other-job' people trying to make a quick buck, not a career.

Oh, and their benefits package is quite literally established through Obamacare.

    Cheers and Good Luck,

    Capt. Anonymous
