I worked at MG Design Assoc full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

8.5 hour work day with 1 hour paid lunch, so technically only 7.5 hours per day.
Get your own ipad and iphone.
    Extensive and detailed training.

    Cons

    Expectations are unclear.
Feedback is not given or isn't helpful.
Projects that are your responsibility that require input from others will never get done because nobody responds to you. Too many remote offices.
Work environment is terrible. Upstairs consists of 2 rows of desks with no wall separation, music blaring in the middle of the room, and the noises from the shop down below.
MG claims you get an hour paid lunch, but everyone sits at their desk and works through their lunch and expects you to do the same.
You are forced to sit through meetings that have nothing to do with your job duties.
Management does not bring up issues/problems and give you a chance to correct them. They'll just fire you.
    Benefits are terrible!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try some constructive feedback and actually giving an employee a chance to make improvements before jumping the gun and firing someone when they've invested everything into it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
