I have been working at MISO

    Pros

    Good work environment
    And like the workforce itself
    Interesting and unique industry
Good balance of work and life and employees recognition

    Cons

    Supervisors handout "peanuts" as work,
lack of communication- supervisors always keep info too close to the chest which ends in double work or work not needed i.e. wastes all over departments
    unprofessional at times and
"Two face" at specific level of supervision/management
Contract workers aren't treated the same as permanent; more like "second class" and can use the fact contracted employees can be terminated easier with no feedback or good reason; they hide behind this fact and use it to ignore their responsibilities to employee growth and supervisors have hard time delegating

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Benefit ALL employees to be more open with communications and treat permanent and contract same besides the obvious that permanent employees have benefits; contractors feel like they are second class and do not receive feedback

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
