    I have been working at Mark's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Changing environment, meet lot's of different kinds of people. Learn about business and gain a lot of knowledge. Being able to spread my knowledge around and gain abilities in different areas of retail/customer service/merchandising.

    Cons

    Customers can be downright abusive with no backlash, constant change of how things are done, unrealistic goals from stores, seemingly strange ways of promoting and convoluted way of handling different things and priorities.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff, you can't work them to the bone, cut hours, take away benefits, then ask employees to buckle down and share the vision of a future Mark's....not for what you're giving as compensation we can't.
