I have been working at Marsh full-time (More than 8 years)
Engagement in the Colleague base is great. Everyone really cares about you and what you contribute to the team. Benefits are fairly good, and the work is done well.
They promote the wrong people to leadership and don't seem to value loyalty very much. attrition is very high because at the moment they are over working those employees who are there and it's taking 3-4 months to promote or even do a lateral transfer.
Advice to Management
For Senior Management - Speed up the job approval process, people can't wait for advancement forever. You are losing the good people because your dragging your feet to promote them. Also, the hiring freezes are killing your bottom line. Financials are falling because no department is fully staffed and you are overworking the good people.
